Disciples Cross Necklaces

Disciples Cross Necklaces are made of nails, wire, and leather......each component symbolizing the crucifixion of our Lord.  Each necklace is hand-made.  We started making these little necklaces, both for income, and for what they symbolize. These little necklaces are only $9.99 each, plus shipping and handling.  They are great gifts for classmates, Sunday School classes, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, or any other extracurricular group.  There is always a "reason" for a small gift or momentum to show someone that they are special with a gift of Christian significance.

Each necklace includes the following message:

"The Disciples Cross(TM) is made up of three distinct components.  The simulated leather cord reminds us of the leather straps used to beat our Savior; the wrapped wire stand for the thorn branches twisted into a crown to mock the King of Kings; and the nails represent the large spikes that were driven into the hands and feet of the Lord of Lords.

As you carry your Disciple's Cross(TM) with you, consider the sacrifice that Jesus made for you and take up your cross and follow Him."

 

Fund-raising is another important aspect of these beautiful little necklaces.   

Every year, different organizations have their fund-raisers.   The American Cancer Society has a big drive regularly.  I was really happy to be able to supply the group where my best friend is involved (she is a cancer survivor).  The light pink necklace is the exact color of the "breast cancer ribbon".  The deep purple is the color of the "cancer ribbon". 

Youth groups, little league baseball parks, schools, and other organizations have fund-raisers each year.  These are very popular with children of all ages.  I have been surprised at how very popular they are with teenagers!  I have even seen certain music groups wear necklaces similar to these.  (I won't say they are the same......but they look really close!)  A lot of people are wearing them in their school colors.
